I am new to the 405th community but have been aware of it for some time just to nervous to join.
So i figured I would start off by share my halo cosplay journey!
I have been cosplaying from Halo/Red Vs Blue since 2016 with my first Halo half armour build Sharkface from RVB. I hand made this by looking at images and drawing my own templates then cutting them out of foam this was before I knew what pepakura was haha.
I then cosplayed as Carolina from RVB. I didnt make this armour however I end up re gluing all the sems and re painting it.
This Armour then got repainted at I build a robot arm and re made the shoulder and forearms to make my Spartan Kitty B183,Which was a OC character I made and love very much. She was/is part of Fire Team Monarch which was our wellington (NZ) fire team ( long story short aka she got rebuilt into an ODST long story short) I aslo build some custom decals for her. Also the Railgun was made by Andrew DFT !!!
This armour eventually got painted into Doc grey from RVB and this suit still lives on but not with me. I donated this suit to a family and over the years their 3 boys have all grown into the suit and they still have it ! Spartans never die
I now have a ODST which I love <3 she was made and painted by the amazing WhenInMaine (From_the_brink_studios on Insta)
This was painted as Kitty my OC part of Fire Team Monarch previously a spartan. This suit has been put to the test throw around on sand dunes, parkour and even in a river. This suit is so well made it our lasted the paint. As paint the stared to fade I re painted her into Dare from ODST.
I have now started my next build another ODST !!! I will occasionally be live streaming my process/build on my tiktok if you which to follow along I will be making a thread as well!!
