I‘m new

I'm just getting started. I visited one of this group's stands in Speyer and was very interested.
I've been into Halo lore/books for years and have played the games obsessively. I'm also very deep into Warhammer 40k/Marvel and DC lore.
A few months ago, I decided to start cosplaying actively, but I didn't have a specific direction in mind.
I found my direction in Speyer.
I hope one of you can help me with regard to the materials I can print with (that are suitable for this).

All of us are more than happy to help you with any questions!
Most important think you need to decide first is what you want to make!
After that you can look into how you want to make it. The two most popular methods are 3d-printing and foam-smiting. Each with their own ups and downs for mobility, weight, and durability.
Just remember 1 thing, your first attempts are going to be *bad* and that is GOOD!!!!!
every failure is an opportunity to learn!

Glad you found your way here! I wasn’t at Speyer, but at I’d say the German squad was very well represented there. Still bummed that I couldn’t make it there this year.

As for materials, I’m sure you’ll find your way soon. I’m more of a foam fan, but props get 3D printed. (3D printing is still witchcraft to me)
