Hey everyone! Im a newbie and working on what I want to cosplay as. I was thinking cortana or a medic maybe. How did you decide what you wanted to build? If I do cortana, I definitely will just get a suit already made but if I want to do like a medic or something, what's the best way to go about it?

Choosing what to make and how to make it is probably the toughest decision we have, there’s so many options out there it can be hard to decide.

For a medic suit, I’d look into a Marine from Reach/ Infinite; there’s a lot of accessories like biofoam canisters and med packs that would fit the aesthetic really well. I’ve been looking into making the one from Infinite into a printable version recently

Material wise foamsmithing and 3d printing are both good options, mixing the two for one suit is also a valid option as well

Both of your suggestions are pretty cool
I would say do whatever you feel like the most

for Cortana the only thing you will probably need to do is style a wig if you're buying the suit. As far as builds go its not very involved so if you don't want to do much then thats your pick!
However if you actually want to make something then definitely pick the medic, you can customise that way more than Cortana and really build your own character. Personally I would find that way more fun. And you won't be as cold if you went outside in cosplay x)
