How about vacu forming with blue tinted plastic. That would be cool

Or you could cast it in clear casting resin with a little bit of blue dye in it. :D and you could put lights in it.
Oh, and i would remake the sword with pepakura. No offense, but it would look much nicer.

molding and casting would cost quite a bit, i do agree with you remaking the sword would be a good idea

I know the sword didn't turn out that good. My problem was that I don't have enough money to do a pep process. Plus, all I used was the styrofoam that is used to pack TV's in their respective boxes. I never said it was a good sword. I just merely said it was my first. If I had the money and time, I would do a pep of the sword in a heartbeat.

u could print out a scale sword and use that for a guide line to cut the styrofoam?

Would if I could, but I didn't use styrofoam sheets. i glued random piece of styrofoam together so using a scale word wouldn't work out. I did the best I could with what I had. It just doesn't compare to even the simplest pep.

pep isnt as expensive as you think... Saftey Stuff: repirator-20$, latex or vinyl gloves-7$ for a box, Mixing cups(paper reccomended)-5$ for quite a few... , and a ventelated area...

1. printer( if you dont have one, this is probably the most expensive point)
2.pep file (in your case "Energy Sword")
3. scissors/X-acto knife (3-5$)
4.glue (i use Fabric-Fusion 5-7$)
5.time and patience
6.polyester fiberglass resin (10-15$) or roof sealent (20$)
7.to make durable-Smooth Cast 300 (20$ for 32oz. of material)
8. Spraypaint (4-5$ per can: depending on how many colors you want)
Total amount: 70-100$ with printer)

Thats it... and you get a wonderfull sword and probably enough material for another gun or armor piece...

Its not that I didn't know what it was worth. It's just college bleeds your bank account faster than you can put money into it. Once I get some extra spending money, the first thing I will do is make a full pep sword or assault rifle, still deciding. Thanks for the list though.
