Amazing work would you mind listing what kind of pouches your using on your chest and left hip?

Thanks! The chest pouch is the Maxpedition Janus pouch, left thigh is the Maxpedition M-4 waispack, left hip is the 5.11 water bottle holder.

Suit looks great. How's the ventilation in the helmet with the fans installed? I guess it is much more confortable to wear the helmet around now. Also, the details on that S2 are amazing.

Thank you! I have both fans set up as exhaust fans, and they help TONS, thanks to the gaps between the visor and helmet along the bottom edge.

And I am VERY proud of my sniper rifle! Tons of work went in to it (all by me). At the last con I used it, I noticed that is due for some minor repairs and touch-up, however! but it has help up great, considering how much it has been used and packed around, though the rifle case I got for it helps with storage and transportation.

I am currently making an ODST costume myself. I've been looking all over for those two grey clips that are on the top ends of your chest plate. Would you kindly tell me where or how you acquired them? It would mean the world to me.

If you are referring to the two sort of cube van-looking dealies, I got them as part of my kit from Sean Bradley. They are solid cast resin. And yes, he sells them separately. Also keep in mind, that you will need two for the back of the straps as well.

Eventually, I would LOVE to upgrade them to machined aluminum!

Incredible! I love how cleanly and cohesively all the separate parts come together, as well as all the personal touches you integrated. Also, for some reason I'm kinda digging the un-weathered look, its like the visual equivalent of that new car smell, heh.

I would really like to see more of your process if you have any pics!

Thanks guys! And sorry for the late reply; the notification system seems to be having some troubles. Anyway, I have since weathered my armour. Not sure if I have any updated and decent pics ut I will look. Might be time for another photoshoot!

Well, I figured I might as well start posting some pics of my ODST sniper. Armour and helmet from Sean Bradley. When I started planning my ODST, I knew that I wanted to start with a base uniform of Subdued Urban Digital camo, as opposed to straight black or dark grey. I painted my armour a satin black, and golf highlights. Weathering will come sometime. I installed magnets and 4 white LEDs in my Blackula Commando helmet hardened uplink module, so I can use it on my ODST and (unfinished) Commando helmet. Other items of note: I had custom nametaps made for my shoulders (ODST and UNSC), grenade rounds on the right calf, and (resin) .50 rounds on the left calf. I also installed two exhaust fans in my helmet, which help immensely, in addition to my UnderArmour HeatGear balaclava! On my left forearm, I have my tacpad, and nothing on the right forearm; I have found it much more comfortable to leave the forearms off when carrying my sniper rifle. You can't really make it out in this first picture, but I also have 6 dummy brass .50cal rounds in a bandoleer on my right chest.

Over the next little while, I will upload additional images.

Looking really good Jedi, I am waiting for my Sean Bradley suit to arrive. He had a sale and I couldn't resist. Curious, how much work and how long did it take you to assemble the suit?

Initial trimming and mounting and painting....maybe about 30 hours. But I have put easily that much as well, into constant tweaks, mods, and repairs. It gets a LOT of use, and transporting and wearing takes its toll on the suit. Especially in its largely unreinforced state. This pic was way before my weathering, too.

The most important tools in my own build: dremel, drill, and riveter.

After seeing this build I've realised something: I really, really want a sniper rifle. lol. I'll have to look into how well a Nerf Recon can be converted into one (preferably still functional), since I have like 4-5 of those kicking around.
