Open Division Position - DJO (Division Judicial Officer)

Hello 405th Community,

This post is to announce the opening of a Division position of Division Judicial Officer (DJO).

According to the mantle this is the procedure that will happen:

• Division Staff seats are perpetual seats until the member retires their seat or is removed from the Division Staff by the DCO. The DCO may select an interim replacement for the vacant seat until such time as a permanent officer is appointed.
• All Division Staff vacancies require an announcement on the 405th forum, from the DMO to all members in good standing to submit applications with the relevant requested information for the vacant seat. The application submission period will last no more than 30 days. Upon completion of the submission period the DMO will create a thread in the Division Staff forum, and place all applications into the post for review/discussion by the Division Staff members. The review/discussion period will last no more than 2 weeks (14 days) from closing of the submission period.
• The DCO will appoint a replacement.

All applications need to be sent to the DMO team (BOTH MNKr and AugmentedHuman013) via a DM on the 405th forums with the following information:

• Subject line: (Username) DJO Application
• Forum Name
• Regiment
• Why do you want to be DJO?
• What would you be able to bring to the DJO panel?

ANY MESSAGE SENT TO ONLY ONE DMO, VIA DISCORD, OR ANY OTHER PLATFORM BESIDES THE 405TH FORUMS WILL BE IGNORED

Applications will not be accepted after December 1st, 2025

These are the responsibilities of the DJO position per the Mantle:

• Division Judicial Officer (DJO)
  • Interprets and enforces organization rules
  • Serves as an impartial mediator for disputes among members or officers
  • Organizes and oversees all elections and voting.
  • Oversees disciplinary hearings

Division is looking for candidates who ideally possess the following qualifications. These factors are preferred but not exclusive or determinative in the final decision:

• Objective, fact-based decision-making ability
• Strong analytical thinking in evaluating past and present practices
• Familiarity and understanding of the Mantle and Movie Prop Sites LLC Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
