pepakura files

I am confused and lost on what does -.-.-.- or - - - - - - in the pepakura files ? In eva foam some of these lines and dot and straight lines are on angles and really close. So when I try to cut them and build there to thick to make them work. N ext question is which files are best to use folded or unfolded Files or templates ?

They represent mountain (^) and valley (v) folds. The - - - are mountains and the - . - . - are valley.

If you were doing pepakura, you'd generally want to score those lines and fold them the correct direction. In a foam unfold, it's typically pretty safe to not cut them at all and instead cut out that outer shape.
