So I downloaded the free Pepakura 3 viewer and the Guy-Man_Final.pdo that was linked in a large thread on Daft Punk Helmets. Whenever I try to Print or export the pages, the program just crashes!

I really want to start working on this helmet, but I can't print it out :(

I'm on my iPhone right now, so I can't link the links, but I'll try to later.

delete pep 3 viewer and re-download it (it would be best to download the free version of pep designer 3)
and it's a free version so you cant export it at all

So that's the thing, I've downloaded and installed both the pep viewer and the designer numerous times after it didn't work the first time. It only crashes when I try to print the Guy-Man_Final.pdo, I can print the guy.pdo fine (also found in that thead).

Wait, it ONLY crashes when you try to print that file, it prints other files fine? If that's the case, then perhaps there is something wrong with that particular file. There could be something corrupt in the file that causes pep to crash when you try to print.

Well, my friend downloaded it as well, and it crashes so I'm stuck, again. Can anyone like revitilize the file? I'm able to open it and view all of the parts and the 3D model, just no printing.

This would really help me ALOT!

Run a disc cleanup: start-all programs-acessories-system tools-disc cleanup, then shut down your computer completely to remove memory from the ram. Start it back up and try it. If that doesn't work you may need to go to windows update for the latest drivers and python scripts. (not sure if pep uses python, but its always best to have the latest tools)

Well we tried that on both computers and the problem still exists (by the way, I actually don't own windows, just borrowing from friends). Now I'm just desparate for anything - it's so painful to look at a file and not be able to do anything with it T_T -is it possible to convert them into jpegs? I'm certain that I open jpegs...

I'm having this problem as well. The file works fine for other people (as evident in the thread)... why does pep hate me so much?
