Hi all!
I've been working on an Artorias cosplay but I've run into a wall, how to paint it...

I'm using EVA Foam so I've been told to use:

EVA <- Coats of Plasti Dip (Unsure on which product) <- Primer? <- Rub n Buff <- Something to make the colour darker without reducing shine too much

So, which Plasti Dip product do I need?
Do I need a primer and where in the sequence?
How would I affect the colour of the Rub n Buff?
Have I even got the right order?

Thanks in advance ;-;

Instructions

1

Pour one part flexible fabric glue, one part white glue and two parts water in a small bowl to make the seal. Stir with a wooden dowel or small paintbrush until they are thoroughly combined.

2

Dip a paintbrush into the seal and apply a thin layer over the foam. Avoid applying too much seal and creating puddles on the foam. Apply another coat of seal on the foam once the first layer has dried. If air holes form in the seal during the drying process, add more sealant. For good protection against absorption and a smooth finish, apply seven to eight thin coats of sealant.

3

Apply paint to the foam, using whichever medium you desire. If you are using spray paint, hold the can 6 to 12 inches away from the foam. Start at the top and apply long, even strokes as you work your way to the bottom. Apply another coat of paint once the first coat dries, if desired. If you're using a paintbrush, dip a 2-inch or smaller brush --- depending on the foam size --- into the paint, wiping off any excess on the edge of the paint container. Apply the paint to the foam, using long strokes. Start at the top of the foam and work your way to the bottom.

Place a dry 4-inch or smaller brush on top of the foam and tap its bristles on the foam to remove any extra paint. Wipe the paint off the brush with a newspaper, and continue to tap until the brush no longer picks up any paint. Apply additional coats of paint if desired.
