I've recently started building my armor using my 3D printer. everything went quite smooth so far except for the helmet. after assembling it, I started painting it, which is where the problems started appearing. On the seams where the parts where superglued together tears in the paint appeared while drying. I'm sure its because of tension in the parts but I'm not really sure how to solve this. I'm thinking about coating it complety in a layer of epoxy on the in and outside to prevent some of the expansion of the PLA, but not sure if this will work.
Has anyone made any experiences with issues like that, and if so how did you fix it?
