I found this photo the other day and I thought everyone on the forum would get a laugh out of it.

This was my first attempt to ever make an armor. I was trying to make a sayin armor from dragonball z. I think I was like 16 or 17 when I made this.
Well lets hear it. Is this not one of the worst armors you’ve ever seen?

That is a whole lot better than the vegeta one I seen at my recent convention, the dude had it all duck taped up and it just looked horrible. I love your scouter

If you had just had a spikey hair wig, or something, you'd actually be able to pass yourself off pretty good, actually!

I have to agree with everyone here.
This is actually rather good compared to some replicas I have seen.
With time and practice (And looking religiously at the Stickies) I'm sure next time you will have a winning replica at Dragonball Z Cons!

you should see some of the guys on youtube that make their's out of cardboard box's and low tak duct tape.... its tortue to listen to them talk about how its one of a kind and how it might revelutionive the way halo prop armour is made. makes me laugh every time. Granted I didn't now what it was at first but I your's and my defense I have never watched a single full episode of DBZ. Idea! this thread should start a big debate over the best's and the worst's of armour building.

I don't care if they built it out of chewed bubble gum and toilet paper... some people have different levels of artistic ability, and when you start picking on those with abilities lower than yours, you have now become a bully. We don't like bullies here.

BTW,http://www.405th.com/member.php/16015-zero-sama zero-sama, your costume isn't bad at all... it shows that you at least put effort into it.

LOCKED... I am aware that the OP was not intending for this to turn into a bash fest, merely a chance for a good laugh at his expense, but this kind of attention just draws out negativity.

sorry spase I didn't meen to take it to the level of rating other peoples armour on a scale of 1-10. but you now, we have all been there where a project dosn't turn out the way you want it to but you finish it anyway becuase you feel obligateded to finish what you started. and as you mature as a builder and you look back on your earlier projects and you think, wow I sucked back then. I mearly intended to give the Idea that this could be a place where people shared there past mistakes and some of us could learn from then. What I ment by best and worst's is what you did well on the armour and what could have been done differently to make this one of your best piece's. I belive you took it as a higher up making fun of some one with lower abilities the thing is I wanted to hear both sides of the argument. like why this peice isnt so bad as the builder takes it to be or how he could of improved it all the while maintaining the same code of condect that is always displayed around the forum poliet and carfull comments. once again I'm terribly sorry that this was misunderstude I should have been more clear.
