Small update, due to the weather I haven’t been able to get much done the past few weeks besides the base coat of the forearms and chest plate. Going to hit those with the red today and then do some more work on the other pieces tomorrow if weather permits

Testing the strap placement before I glue everything in, pretty happy with it and looks accurate enough to the in game references

It gives it that little extra bit of detail that not everyone would notice at first but will be worth it for the end product. You will have to cut and melt the tips where you cut do get it to thread easily again.

Oh yea I’ve had to do that with paracord too many times, I also widened the holes with a soldering tool too so it’s perfect fitting now

Forearm strapping and detail painting done, shout out to Negativecacti for the idea to use para cord for the wire/cable details

Left boot has the toe plate wraps added and figuring out strapping and bulking out the boot, using a pair of high top black vans as the base shoe since they’re much lighter than my mirage boots

My undersuit for reference. Just a simple BDU shirt and pant with molle vest

Test fitting the arm righing, so far everything holding ip great. Shoulder is attached to the bicep with m3 screws

Boot strapping done, lace cover is has a separate strap for ease of wear, calf is now snug fit and doesn’t require any extra strapping support to keep it up in place
