Recon Build progress-First Build

Thank you! I'm well within my weight loss journey and am planning once the stomach is flat enough to make my spartan armor
It's funny you mention that! Thats literally what I've been doing the past year! I'm down 85lbs now. It's absolutely doable! It was the mental blocker for me for the longest time, but I just adjusted my armor smith avatar to account for weightloss and muscle gain and got to it in time.

I'm rooting for you!

On the final stretch! Everything is padded, other than my chest/back pieces which need minimal work. I finished making the boots and got my shoulders attached to the biceps. Who knew calibration cubes would come in handy again!

I have way less mobility than I'd hoped, but it's doable for now!

Last sprint to get all the clips and straps connected for Friday's Trunk or Treat!

Too excited!!!

ITS DONE!

GAAAAAAH IM SO EXCITED!

I will post a more in depth post for my journey, but I just wanted to give a quick shout out to everyone here at the 405th for their words of encouragement, knowledge, and welcoming community.

This has been a 2 year process between getting my first printer, getting through adversity, and actually "Finishing the Fight" as a way to put it.

I'll get some full suit up photos here soon.

Thank you!!!

Welp. Disregard that. Had multiple failures on my suit today :D! All in all just needed additional adjustment to my leg straps, re build a bicep I totally ripped while putting it on, and make sure I let epoxy putty fully cure before letting magnets attach.

Was great to meet all the folks there though! Ill be back soon, with a functioning suit haha!
