Hey guys. Just breezing past for a quick update.
The armour is almost totally finished now, I'm just working on padding out the lower legs and the lower arms so that they hold in place.
Next will be on to the under armour/suit. Just to give you an idea, here's a pic of the sewing work that's been done on the boot:
It's not a really good example of what I'm aiming for but you get the idea.
Thanks again for all the nice comments and insperational work that's been going on at the minute.

It's actually a fake leather/pleather material. It's 2 layers of the material with wadding stuffed in the middle and then sewn to give the ribbed effect.
I don't know if it'll be possible to do the enire undersuit like this as it might turn out to be too hot but we're experimenting.

Right, so it's been a while since I updated, reason being that I hadn't been able to do much on the armor what with going away on vacation, life taking over ect.
I finally though have some solid pics of my finished armor. You see my 'in-laws' have gone away on vacation and had left my wife and I to look after their place/ damn cats. Since their place is a whole lot bigger than ours we decided to have some friends up for a party and the 'big reveal'. I hadn't told any of my mates about my armor for the whole 9 months odd that I'd been working on it so as you would expect they were pretty surprised.......
......especially when I teabagged their limp bodies:
Because of timing I haven't been able to complete the undersuit. Most I could do in time was the neck piece.
Which turned out ok.
