So after building about 2/3 of the armor suit using the traditional pep / fiberglass / bondo method I grabbed some smoothcast 300 at an art supply store. I've been using a slush cast method on straight paper, without putting a layer of fiberglass resin on the outside first. Anyhow, so I have a lot of small droplets of plastic all over the place on the outside of my armor. Is there anything I can do to stop little drips running through the small gaps in the armor? Its a little messy, but I like how much better reinforced some of the smaller details are as well as the fact that since it dries so fast I can hold it in place to keep it from warping while it cures.
