Okay guys i just came to think of it. Would it be possible to use resin to make a perfect smooth surface untop of bondo (when the bondo has dryed).

Since im having small patterns, holes etc on my bondo work (even though i bondod it).

Help will be appriviated.

Thanks!

Instead of using resin, use metal glaze. It is liquid like resin, so it will fill in pinholes, but is alot more sandable than resin, so its easier to get the smooth surface.

I dont think we have that here... But the idea is the same? so resin should work just as well?

I dont see the point of doing this, but if you did sand it after applying, it would come out smooth.

I added resin to the inside of my helmet after I was done with the bondo and yes, it did create a nice smooth surface underneath
