I used two layers of resin on the outside then on the inside I used a thin layer, the fiberglass cloth, then a pretty thick resin layer over that. But yeah I had to figure out a way to stop warpage and just happened to have things that were just about the perfect size around.

Dude I'm totally looking for some of those tomato plant holder they seem to work realy well. You & your buddy are a hoot. Hope you got a palm sander man (got mine for like ten bucks @harbor frieght ) otherwise It would have taken me forever . Everthing is looking sweet.

Yeah this Spartan has seen a lot of action. I wanted a lot of wear and a very dirty look to it to off set the bright colors.

Hey Rock i have been watching your armor come together and i have to say i am impressed, but i think that you are using just a little to much bondo. When i did my shin i only covered the areas i wanted smooth with bondo, and even then i only used very small amounts to make it smooth. I see you coated your entire shin piece with bondo. All that's going to do is cover up your details and make it harder on you.

That's my experience with bondo so far and you can see from the pics i only used it on the front and back, where i wanted to get rid of the weird paper look.

Haven't posted any progress in a while, I've been busy.

Painted the shins and did the resin on the Brute Shot, plus added the expanding foam into the parts.
