I'm working through Robo's armor, too, so I'm watching your progress greedily. It's great to see lots of angles of the finished pieces (and pieces done so well I might add). Keep up the good work!

SO here's progress on my Helmet, it is in it's stage I call the "Helmess" since it's well... a mss XP Only problem I have atm is telling how much to fold, nothing bad though, I'm dry matting with rubber cement so I can adjust the folds. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but oh well

I also got the glove I'll be affixing the handplates to. The plates are still a bit big, but it doesn't bother me too much THE gloves are by a company called "Blackjack" I got em on ebay for 15 bucks and the includes shipping

I gotta join my fellow Lady Forgers and get some armor going. So seeing as I haven't started a thread yet, granted nothing much to report other than a botched first attempt at FS's helmet, I'm finally able to start up again. So my first pieces are going to be Robo's hand plates. I have tiny hands, so even scaled to my size the plates are a bit big,(it looks gargantu, but that's just the camera angle) but it doesn't bother me right now, I'll have to see how they do when Robo or FS get their version of the Gauntlets done, as to see if they will bump into each other. This plate took me about 4 hours, and I took my time I'm going to hold off the resining for a bit since it's too cold for it to cure, I'm just going to continue building the smaller pieces. I think the boots are my next project. I'll save the FS helmet and torso for when I have more time.
The images are small, just to save bandwidth etc etc, one day I'll upload bigger versions.

Yeah, they do have that cutesy oversized thing going on.

I decided to start on FS's helmet as well, and scrap work on my original (warpage = teh suck ) The smooth strips sent me for a loop. The non-blocky folds world is so bright and scary!

holy crap, its like a helmet exploded! are you sure thats the helmet n not just the leftovers from a shredder? awww, those gloves look so cute *punch* oh, maby not up that closes. i think i might get me a pair of them, they look kewl.

@ FS: hahahaha yeah you looked too close yeah, I did the equivilent of exploding Geomtry in a 3D program but in real ife, ahhhh glue glue glue

So currently I have the vents glues and some misc. jaw pieces and... lots of other stuff, maybe sections from the back and top cut out and folded... can't tell yet X\. HOPEFULLY if I have a full day of building I can get a good chunk done, I'm in the final stretch for DBP, so my armor could go on hold again and soon

I just wanted to tell you that the new supported boot files are now up. You can use the supports from the 3-piece boot on the old boot that you've already made, you just have to estimate where the supports go.

Nice work on the armor, too bad FS didnt start modeling until a while after I joined. I really like the gloves you chose for the armor, very nice with the hand plates.

So here's my Helmet, it's about 90% done! I have all the teeny tiny back pieces and the nose piece left to build. Some of the parts are not wanting to stay glued down, so I may throw electricians tape on it to add more hold while I store it until it warms up so I can resin it. This was frustrating at some points, but fun none the less I threw in some goofy pics of myself too Again the pics are small to save size for my attachments

After this it's on to the torso XD
