Sniper rifle?

Anyone have any good ideas for a sniper rifle mod? I was thinking a cheap airsoft rifle to start with and then just fiberglass additions to it, but I don't have much time to play these days. So anyone had any luck or decent ideas floating around?

depends on what you mean by "mod"
you got the right idea with the fiberglass but you can also cast liquid plastic parts too

my experience with liquid plastic is nonexistent... But more than a few years putzing with automotive... well fiberglass and bondo are my medium of choice.

What I meant by 'mod' was to take an existing rifle and alter it's exterior appearance to more closely match. There are a few airsoft models that might work, but they are pretty darn pricey. The more I think about it, I may just use 3/4' cpvc to form the long barrel. I was hoping that there was an inexpensive "toy" that would be able to make up the rest of the body with a little sweat and playing around.

theres not too many cheap ones that look good

if you want function over form i can show you how to fit a mini pneumatic cannon in it
and you can glass over it

:whoa2: Did you say ... pneumatic cannon? sounds almost like the o'l potato cannon I made when I was a kid Alrighty then, kidding aside, just what do you mean by "pneumatic cannon"? As long as it's non-leathal I would likely be interested.

if you think about it, thats not bad. you dont have to make alot of mods. but the killer is the price

o yea and real aks go as low as 300 dollars for crappy chinese ones.
the most expensive one i have seen is 1500

and they have that sniper at long island airsoft by my aunts house. it weighs like 16 pounds mad heavy and it was only 1200 there lol

easily glassed into a sniper
