Hey everyone! It's been a while since I committed to a build thread so I thought I'd get back into it with a breakdown of the MK V (B) Mjolnir armor I built for my Partner Bethany!

After playing through the Reach campaign, a fair amount of Infinite's multiplayer and falling in love with the story, my partner knew she wanted her own set of Halo Reach armor. We began the initial design within MCC's customisation, here is the initial design:

After picking out the initial design we moved to Blender and utilised the Spartan pack to make up a render as it allowed for more freedom with attachments and colours. While in blender Bethany decided to change the torso attachments out for the TAC/LRP (T-Mags) that I am well known for sporting on my own armor as they function as pockets! Here are some images of the Blender works:

The main difference between the MCC design and the Blender design are the Torso, right shoulder and the addition of a 2nd wrist attachment.

With the design stage finished it is time to move onto the build itself!

Before the build began we painstakingly measured out Bethany's measurements and compiled them into the ever faithful Armorsmith program. After scaling the MK V (B) files up using her newly created Armorsmith avatar we moved onto the Build itself.

We knew going in that we wanted this suit to be made from foam as much as possible, so with that in mind I turned once again to the Armory here on the 405th to requisition the assets I needed.

the foam i used for this project was EVA 75 purchased from a company in the Gold Coast called PJ Bowers, they come in an impressive 1200x2400mm sheet size. I bought 3 sheets total 6mm, 8mm and 10mm as well as a ajeet of 5mm from lumins workshop which all up was more than enough foam. I also picked up a 4L tin of Contact cement that PJ Bowers stocks called N150 Lamiweld which is pretty good stuff.
