Stanby Why

Today I was playing a round of MLG, only lose to a standbyer (is that a word). What constructional propose does standby solve. Funny part is I got a triple kill on him lol. What cheating experience have you had in matchmaking.

H3: Standbyed, Bridged, Attempts at XBL account hacks.
H2: Standbyed, Bridged, wepon hacked
H1: Everything from infinite amo, to glass walled (XBConnect).

I tend to hit the most problems in Squad Battle... but I don't really see much problem in it happening since usually the standbyers lag out too badly to play.

Drives me nuts. I hate it when I see that red bar on the side of their name, and their Spartan jumping all over my screen after a 'sneak' up kill.

Well, some people not even their mothers love them, so they have to try other ways of getting the much wanted attention.

I'm sitting here playing a couple rounds, and I want to add another thing. What the hell is up with 'teabagging'? I truly do not understand this fad. I'd rather take the penalization and quit, or just put my controller down than play with anyone so disrespectful. My honest opinion. I'd much rather play with mature adults (who unfortunately, aren't all innocent either... )

I'm gonna be honest, in a friendly game with people I actually know, I'll teabag, but if it's with people I've never met (such as with Halo PC), I don't do it.

It's just something someone figured out you could do in Halo and every started to follow. That's the easiest way to tell which people on Xbox Live are like 12 and 13, the ones that teabag all the time. :p

I only bag my friends and the ones who were morons in pre-game. Mainly the ones that scream down the microphone, kick up some stupid trash talk, or brag about their General rank before I no-scope their face off rather humiliatingly.

Some people deserve a bag.

OK, yeah, I'm guilty as well when in comes to playing with friends, LOL. I don't know why it bothers me so much. It probably shouldn't.

ehh don't take it too seriously. Even Bungie tea bags, they make fun of it all the time.
As for cheaters, I've faced plenty. Just recently in Team Doubles I was playing with a friend and we were winning when he then got lagged out. A minute or two later and I will still winning, by myself, when I saw the guy stand in the corner while I was about to kill him, then I got kicked out.... such bull! Some people suck at the game they have to cheat, then they still can't win so they cheat some more!

Oh man; I've had the whole lot of em over the past couple months. Hackers, Boosters, Standbyers and you know what? There ruining the experience for themselves and other people and Bungie has every right to knock em over the head with the hammer.

I don't like to TB but sometimes, duty calls.
Every now and then, you'll have some idiot who will start trash talk, or call me very inappropriate names..
From that point on, I'll zero in on that person the entire match and drive them nuts with an abundance of TB's
I'll also throw in a bunch of stickies, needles and from the grave kills.

One match, we had all 4 of us in the team, TB'n that one person.
I might not be the best player in match making, but I sure know how to bug someone when they deserve it :p

Haha, I hear you there. I love going out of my way to tear down a guy's Kill/Death ratio.

Speaking of going out of your way to bug someone, I was playing with a team, and 2 of our members left, and this guy was just tearing me down for not keeping up in kills with him. And he was yelling at me for 'stealing his kills'. I was just like, "Ok, sorry for helping you." And he just kept whining, so from that point on, I just flew face first into getting killed by the opposing team. A few shots at the ground to get their attention, a few shots to the face and instant gratification.

I laughed as he cried about me committing suicide.

*confused* I'm not of fan of teabagging my self but if they are jerks I shall place the nuts.
I think we are getting a little off topic.

Sorry about that, didn't mean to dereail. Just letting off some steam.

Back on track here, what do you guys do when this happens? Try for more sneak attacks? Take a deep breath a deal with it? Is there really anything you can do?
