I read through the noob stickies and found some pretty good info, but after searching through the forum I couldn't seem to find an older post (or another sticky) that covered all of the different armor types and their respective advantages / disadvantages.
i.e. I assume Foam is more flexible, but perhaps not as shinny and an be expensive
i.e. Plastic not flexible - can look cheap?
Again these are just examples that could be entirely wrong. I just see all of the various terms tossed around and think it could be a big help to noobs like myself to have a nice sticky post that covers all the different options along with their advantages, disadvantages and cost of materials.
