The Death Of A 360

Well I wanted to play some COD4 online today, and when I turned on my 360 I like many others before me was struck with the Red Ring Of Death. I'm still under warranty, but I've had the system since launch, and hoped that I was immune to such issues. I really wish I could give it a better send off then the card-board coffin that goes to the repair shop. Kinda like this Funeral, just replace rupert with my 360. Or perhaps something like this.

Including the fireworks and numerous planets celebrating the 360's passing to a better cpu.

But, there is a silver lining to all this. My father wants a 360 now because when I Moved out he misses all of my racing games, so I get to buy a new one and he'll pay me for the old one once its back from the repair shop. So all in all I get to upgrade to a newer 360 for about $75

That sucks so much! I wonder what the failure rate is on these things now.

I read it was like 65 percent or higher a while back...

Hey, do you know if there's a difference between the Pro 360 and the Halo 3 Limited Edition one?

I'm hoping they fixed the hardware, with the LE version.

My Box RRoD last night as well.... I was forced to buy a new one last night... but I have a new pro manufactured with 60 gig HD and built in August... it better be updated. (yes I am having my original console repaired)

My 360's have been very confusing
1st one broke 3 days before the warranty expired (Barely got a new one).
After 3 weeks it got RROD, i got it fixed, it came back and still had RROD, i got it fixed by myself, but after 2 months the dvd tray broke, so i had to repair it again. I got really pissed, so i just bought a new one.

Now im a Happy owner of 2, 360's

I'm not trying to brag or anything, but Since I got the 360, I have never seen the Red Ring of Death on any of my 2 (Ones for Online and other stuff, other for personal playing.). But still, sorry dude .
