Well, it has been a hot minute, but I am starting to get somewhat back into the swing of things again.

And I had this feeling like I needed to revisit some of my past projects for renewal.

And while I already have a great place to showcase my armor reconstruction, it is time to showcase some of the prop and external projects that aren't armor.

And I figured that the best place to start would be my SAW. My old one took an unfortunate tumble off my gun wall and broke. So I might as well start there.

Well this will be a little bit of a smaller update but it is an update.

Now that I have the base of the gun cut out and prepped, I need to build and install any of the internals that I might want.

And this is just the first one:

Maybe now it is a little more clear! Yep I am building the charging handle! The main assembly is complete and I only need to add the handle itself (3d printed) and I will be able to get it put into the prop!

I have at least 1 other piece of internal hardware that I intend to add: a moving trigger.
and 1 optional piece: I have a small motor that I might create a "tumbler" for the gun so that it will vibrate when the trigger is pulled!

But we will see how ambitious I get.
