The vision faded as the small ships computer brought Volkov out of his daydream nightmare. It had located a distress signal, Volkov glanced at it in thought, but turned the warning off.
"Sorry bud, I've got enough problems of my own," he muttered. "Besides, I don't really feel like being found, not yet anyway, not by you." He put the ship on silent mode and continued to drift, hoping to be uninterrupted while he continued to reflect on what had come to pass.
