can't be 501st unless you can show pictures of you with movie quality armor.

so i dont want our standards to be that high

Well you can't say that, at least there should be an affiliated group because considering that there are not many people with a full set of armor out there you may want to lower the specifications a bit...

Yes, I believe it should be easier to be a Spartan/Odst/Marine/Elite...whatever, because the 501st has high standards.. ;-)

So, outta curiosity, what are we doing at this point guys?

Sounds like decent progress... I think. Ok, now back to the fun stuff you've all be arguing about for the past 17 pages. Wooh!

Debatable Points:

- If you have any set of completed (?) armor, whether, ODST, Elite or Spartan, you can join in full membership.

- You must be 16 or older.

- Ranks.(Sergeant, Corporal, Captian, ect.)

- Dog tags/Patches/ect. for members.

- Admittance elegability. (basically, If I have no armor, can I still join?)

- Who would make the website?

If I forgot some, I'm sorry, but I did a little search on the last 3 pages, seeing as those were the most recently discussed.

Here's my take on the whole thing, and I will go point by point.
- I'd say completed armor should be a requirement. And I should be a neutral party in this since I myself do not have a completed suit. Just as the 501st demands a full suit, so should we. We wouldn't have to worry about movie quality, though, that can bite the 501st in their stormtrooping butts.

- I'm ok with this. Of course, by being 16, it means that your parents probaly wouldn't just let you run off to conventions, to you'll still have to ask for permission, but it's better than waiting two more years right? So being 16 or over to join is a good idea.

-Accessories are a nice idea. We should, however make a list and decide based on popular vote which will be most popular. Of course, we'd also want to make sure that any accesory we get will be in our group's budgeting range. We wouldn't want to go into debt before we even kick te group off.

- Admittance eligabilty. Now, making Master Chief is no easy task by far. And for those of us who're still in progress or who are just major fans, there may be a possibility for admittance into the group. There will be noticable differences between us and our armor wearing comrades, though, and when this idea developes more, I will share. Their should also be rules to joining this part of the group to avoid spammers, trolls, advertisers, basher, 501sts, and people who will grown inactive after 1 month.

-Well you got me there. I don't know anything about websites. Unfortunately, I'm just relatively decent at planning and putting things together. Someone will step up, I hope.

Here's an additional point I've decided to make about membership fees and how we'd be able to afford whatever accessories we'd need.

- Well, as members, I'm sure we'll have some sort of membership fees. Let's just go with $15. Some of this would go into buying whatever accesory we'd need to make ourselves look official, and the rest would go to the site. So basically, say we'd spend $10 on whatever accessory, then $5 would go to the site. It make sure that our site stayed up for awhile while it's just taking baby steps, then as we'd grow, so would our site.

Wow that's a lot to type, but hopefully, it's a good read. I'm trying to help you out. Tell me what you think.
Also, you need to toll which names people would like best for the site and see which is most popular.

Alrighty, enough typing.

Cool, I'm interested in this quite a bit and so am willing to help out as much as I possibly can. So, I'll be helping out much as I can. I just got my mac laptop so I'm setting it up

So I should be up and running in the next few days!! ;-)

If you want I can get started on photoshop and get those logos? How does that sound?

Just a quick question. Would this be restricted to US residents only?

*Edit* Oh, and I could probably help out with the website as well. I've got a fair bit of experience on that field ;)

how about ONIsector.com
thats okay, oh and for the badges with your state regimant, we should just have like a cicular patch with the UNSC logo in the center, and the "UNSC 405th Infantry-state regiment" intext surrounding it, (i don't think we should have cards), oh and i deffinetly want to help Obviously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd say 16 and above would apply for everywhere.

Sounds good, but who's the exact creator of this, shouldn't we get his permission?
Or are we all creators?

I meant more as in: Would applications for the whole 501'st thing be limited to US residents only? Seeing as there's current talk about states.
