UNTIL we can confirm a booth deployment we will proceed as Guest attendance only con. With that in mind I would like to enter the costume contest this year to gain more visibility for the 405th. Community table / small booth confirmed.

We are now just about 3 months away from Twin Cities Con. Reminder that we will be shooting for the group cosplay in the costume contest this year if we do not get a booth approved. I would like a large turnout to let the crowd know that we are here, we are local, and we are awesome.

This is my grand plan to try and recruit without a booth. Hopefully it will let the event runners know we are serious about having a presence at this con. If you can make it and don't have a costume I will lend you one if mine to pad the numbers.

I was just checking this morning to see if there’s any information about the costume contest and I noticed these two guests will be in attendance. Still plenty of time to get tickets!

I have a few people potentially interested in joining the group cosplay, but havent quite swayed them into joining the 405th.

I've already mentioned this on Discord, but I unfortunately can no longer make it this year. Sorry to disappoint!

45 Days out! No info yet on a booth opportunity or the costume contest. Please stay posted here or the official thread for updates.

Important update: We have been offered a community table/booth opportunity at TwinCities con this year. They will also provide 10 passes for the event. I am waiting to hear back on the actual space size so we can plan for this even. Stay tuned as details unfold I will be updating TwinCities Con threads.

I have to get more information, but my sister claims to have a friend that does photography, if we dont have any photographers in mind ill see about getting my sisters friend up here for a photoshoot.

Hey hey!

Twin Cities Con is finally within reach! We are in the single digits days away from Minnesota's biggest show of the year, can you believe it? We have a few new things to go over, such as the new maps (attached) and how to receive your badges. If you have any questions before the con, please let me know.

We will be aiming to move in on Thursday the 6th at from10am-2pm. I feel this will be ample time to set up our area. We have a 10 x 10 corner booth #812 on the attached map. We will be going for a left hand layout so mirroring what we set up in the garage.

I could really use the some help from 8-10 at the armory to load the trailer. We will also use remaining wall pieces to set up a back drop in my garage for later Extra Life streaming after the con on Saturday. More to follow on that later.

Those that are helping with move in will receive their badges Thursday morning. All others DM me so we can meet before Con open on Friday to get the booth ready. You will get your badges then.

Last year we had a lot of exhibitors get stuck in the security lines, so we've remedied that for this year. During the show, if you leave the security bubble you'll reenter through Lobby C, show security your badge (must be exhibitor or guest!) to be let through. You won't have to go through Lobby B, so make sure you have your badge if this is how you plan to enter. If you haven't picked up your badges yet or set up yet, you'll have to enter through the loading dock. (See below for loading dock info.)
