ok, so when i first started my pepakura project someone gave me a tutorial on how to do it.
it turns out that one was entirely wrong.
so now i have several pieces that have been fiberglassed/resined on the outside.
so the question is,

save or scrap?

hmm well my camera kinda exploded so sry...ill try to get pics up asap.
everything looks as it should (looks just like it did made out of cardboard just resin colored and hard), but
i was just worried that the texture might make it look awkward or something after painting.

after u glass the inside, u sand down the outside till its smooth, ive seen ppl glass the outside, then since bondo is easy to sand, have them coat it in bondo then sand that down smooth..

Give it another couple coats of resin then sand it down to size.

Definitely save-worthy, it will just give you a little more of a headache than normal to make it look the way you want.

alright thanks. i didnt want to do it all over again.
i have all the leg and arm armor pieces done in this way.
the chest and helm i will make sure to do properly.
