Short mini-post, just because I am becoming very happy with the paintjob on the helmet so far.
You can see another spot where I peeled off some of the basecoat on top there... that's been fixed now, but the paint is still drying (and I don't want to move it for photos).
I tried out some sealer on a scrap piece to see if I could seal it all up without ruining anything, and it looks like I'm good to go tomorrow when the paint is fully totally dry (don't want to take any risks at this stage). After that, it's on to weathering!
