thats very awesome.... armor put to great use!

you wouldnt say that if you saw all the cracks in the armor. i think i might take pictures of all of the battle damage from this season and post them on here. im pretty sure it would make all of the kids cry, since i "ruined" a perfectly good molded armor.

ive been doing it so long that most of the season ticket holders just arent that phased by me anymore. ive had all sorts of crazy things happen, from getting escorted out of the dome in full Optimus Prime mode by police officers, to having a saints fan punch a houston texans fan in the face because the texans fan disrespected me. when i went to reliant stadium in my costume, a saints fan took up for me even though i didnt really need him to. the texan fan pushed my head (didnt hurt, i have a helmet on) and the saints fan just decked him in the face.

as far as security goes, a few years back they held a special meeting with the gate security, the ushers, and the police officers. it was specifically about me, because i was the first person to ever wear something this big to a game. after that meeting, they determined they couldnt do anything to me because i have 3 season tickets right next to one another, so theres no issue of me making someone uncomfortable. they also worried about me sneaking in weapons, but i pass the metal detectors so they cant make me take off the armor. these days its smooth sailing, the people at the gate smile and high five me now.

And yeah I was wondering about the concealed weapons thing.. and in some cases concealed "beverages" since most places don't seem to let you bring your own. Really cool that that all works out for you!

maybe i worded it poorly. i was in my optimus prime costume last year and i got in some trouble with the police. the entire crowd around us BOOed when they escorted me out of the dome, but then they cheered when i finally talked my way out of trouble and came back.

they "got a lot of complaints" about me blocking people's view of the field. it was BS, because i only get up and dance around during timeouts, between quarters, or whenever the game is stopped by the refs. i NEVER clown around when theres play on the field, and i even sit down when the Saints are on offense. granted, i stand up and yell for the defense, but im pretty courteous to the people behind me.

yeah, none of the real costumed superfans were in that commercial. they didnt put much effort into that commercial. im on two other commercials for the saints, but i think they only play locally. i was a Sports Illustrated Fan of the Week last season though.

thanks man! ill be doing this for many years to come, with new armor/robot suits every year. this coming season is going to be a black and gold iron man, along with my new and improved Optimus Prime (ill still wear the Chief to a game or two, but he needs a rest. last season was brutal)

do it man. i wore the Mjolnir suit to Reliant Stadium. i only had a few cups of ice thrown at me, no biggie.
