Visor Tinting - Bronze??

I am tinting a visor for my ODST build. I read the visor tutorial and have a good grasp on the process. I’m struggling with color though and would appreciate ideas. My armor is blues with bronze accents. I feel that gold or silver will clash with the bronze. Has anyone done a bronze dye/chrome? I thought maybe if I used orange or brown iPoly dye before a silver chrome it might come out bronze. I only have one visor so worried about experimenting.

Experiment on something else then? Is it a vacuum formed visor? If so just about any retail blister pack thing you buy is going to use the same kind of material. You might have a couple in your recycling right now.

I second trying it out on something else if you only have one visor. I use dud vacuum forms or even just small pieces of my stock PETG to practice on if i'm not sure I'll love a colour. As for the chrome look you want, you might be the person I was talking to on the discord, but in case that was someone else I'll put this here:

alclad II makes a copper model paint which should go on the same as the chrome people often use for visors. Alclad II ALC 110 Copper

I think that even a clear visor sprayed with this stuff on the inside would achieve what you're looking for. You could also dye it a brown/copper colour, but nothing too intense i don't think.

If you do some experiments, please post the results here for my own future reference :)
