Where to go from here?

So I'm getting my mark IV armor to a level where I think I'm ready to make another jump in quality. I went from doing foam and papakura initially to 3D printing and now I've gotten the undersuit down pretty well.

Heck I've got my Alexa unit in there, hearing amplification from shooting headphones so I guess ear protection as well. Plus my voice amplifier and built in speakers. I've got lights in the helmet, front and back. And I've got a blue LED on my back.

What im asking here is:

Any suggestions for improvements, upgrades, or changes?

(i know ive got a few repairs to make )

That’s a tough question, your suits pretty versatile with what you’ve been able to put into it!
What about vac formed visor; versus the one you’ve current got installed?

Man I want to get a vacuum formed visor soooooooooo bad.

Its really hard to get one that's both vacuum formed and hexagon pattern. Maybe I'll have to make one myself XD

Time to invest in a vacumform table, Mirror dye, and hex vinyl transfer XD

I wana do this so bad. I get so hot. I've been thinking of doing a liquid cooling system like installation 00 built. But also I could just add ALOT more fans lol.
Fans can only circulate but if you added a cooling system it would make a huge difference. I know it is something I want to do for my undersuit. First thing's first is getting my fingers splints!

Yeah im gona experiment with some computer cooling blocks in my chest piece. Well see how that does. Then they can vent out the shoulder pylons like real Mjolnir!

Another good question is sticker decals or painted ones. Like I love the painted on look of the numbers but I can also make vinyl stickers for other spots as well I guess it really depends on what I'm doing like I guess the sticker label on the backpack could be printed and stuck on while the front remains painted another potential upgrade

Absolutely, I've been meaning to step up my paints game. I've been practicing on warhammer minis
Ive been practicing in a similar way on the Halo Flashpoint minis. If you need any paint recommendations for your minis or armor let me know. Or if you have recommendations for mini paints please do share.

For trim on minis (I paint Ultramarines) micro paint pens is where it's AT. Gold and Metallics go on in one even coat. Also im going to start making bulk washes so I can wash my armor with the same kind of effect that I wash a mini in.

As you've already got a lot of responses in this thread its a bit late but...
Opening a new thread for every follow-up question when you have a build thread going for your MK-IV armor is going to become a mess.
Its all the same build of the same suit. It really doesn't need a new thread for:
  • Where do I go from here?
  • What paint should I use?
  • How do I strap this?
  • etc. etc.
