Yeah, i would agree with the preceding post. If you are new to airsoft modding, which i gather takes a lot more precision that normal prop-making (not surprisingly) you really need the cheapest, easiest option - which is the pistol.

I hate talking about airsoft on a prop board.

Airsoft is included in the "Weapons and Props" description. If you hate talking about something thats allowed, ur perfectly free not to...

this pistol is going to be easiest because if you choose the base pistol with some care, you probably dont need to remove anything, just add details, although the modification of the magazine to make it extend more will be imho the hardest part - keep clear of the internal mechanisms of those things. relocating springs is harder than it looks...

For airsoft idk. but id by a ion converion kit for my paintball gun what do you make them out of so they dont break easly?

i think that it would be much easier to make it out of a G34 pistol... if you look at the grips on the two... theyre much more similar

EDIT: you woud have to add a barrel extension...
