boot 1 finished and ready for paint
This is looking great. Looking forward to seeing it all finished. Paint will definitely help bring it alive and together.
two boots, and two theighs done and ready for paint, working on the helmet/mask thing, im getting so close now
heres an update
ooooh. The spines look great.
those back spikes look amazing! can't wait to see more!
Love your work. Super clean edges
What are you planning to prevent the chest piece from sliding backwards?
because the way it was made, i kinda needed the weight to help fill the gap where my back worms meet the armor so at the moment nothing. i have attached velcro to the spines so the dont fall out.
its all in the sanding
started on my base coat! i went with a gorilla wood glue sealer the a shiny blue spray paint from michaels. found the orange spray i got chipped too badly and will need to find a new paint currently looking into acrilic orange and maybe a plastidip orange if i can find it. if anything ill check the house paint areas for flexible paint,... and ideas?
Man, the only Hunter armor I've seen was on the cosplay boom video about halo.
I wanted to do something most people hadnt yet.
Yeah, thats why I want to make a spartan based on my spartan armor as its not what most other people have.
Update: the cannon!!
Pew pew pew!
Oh, that does look cool.
working on a mold cast for the canisters, finished the battle damage on most peices and started on the sheild more. chest plate is ready to be primed and painted. the spikes still need the worms but other wise ready for prime and paint. mask is almost ready to paint. shoulders need some detail work. left hand needs detail too but once thats done i should be done. im off all next week hopefully ill have this done on time!
update: over haul ! con crunch!!!!
Looking awesome so far. I had plans to do one of these too but don't know if I'll ever get the time. Too many other things going on. Yours is turning out great.
so my molds did not work out so i bought green see through cups...
here my best update yet
Looking at the pic of the head (which turned out very nice) I am wondering how you're planning to see. If you put sight openings somewhere, they're very well disguised!
