Hello peeps! I've wanted to do this for a bit now, and I figured that since I'm going to Australia's biggest gaming convention, now's the time. I already knew that I wanted to build the basic shape out of toothpicks and styrofoam balls, as that's what I did for organic props back in school...

Did end up painting the grenades from tri-forge, touched up the silver, added silver acrylic and weathering to the areas that either got chipped of rubbed off, painted the area between the tiles black (I know its not game accurate I just think it looks better) and gave it a clear coat to lock it in place

both look really cool and for different reasons. i like the simple more clean of the left, but the right with that bit of grit really adds to it...ODDLY they both seem like they work. I wouldnt know which to pick. which would you do again?

I would probably do the resin one on the left again, while the foam one's awesome because you can throw it at people the resin one just looks so much better on my suit

I have a dream... that, one day, I will have made my own mjolnir suit so I can go around, in public, running errands and all people see is a Spartan.

Most importantly, it's WEARABLE and even comfy.
Has two low-profile fans, powered by a 2000mA battery bank, to keep things cool and dry for hours.
