creation of megaman's armor

hi everyone there, well first i dont speak english very well, so be patient with me.
well i had spent time looking for armor from megaman and just found one or two helmet so i decided to make my own, for this y found this model from megaman x8 and start with it.

well, I'm a noob with the creation of models on pepakura and i started using blender not long ago, so if you can help me with comments or tips.

that's all for the moment, im going to upload the pdo when i finish to scale and unfold it.

That's really cool.

This could be a perfect base for making the rest of X's armors and even Zero's.

the only worry i have is that you wont look much like him due to his legs being completely disproportionate to his body

That's a problem with almost all of these designs.

All the megaman characters have weird proportions, I prefer the X7 models, but the X8 is a little more realistic.

its the same with a lot of video game characters based on fantasy, most of the time they have legs that are 3x the torso length hands the size of frying pans and heads that look more like beach balls

hi, im here again, well i never think about the proportions of the legs thats true but maye when i make the unfold i scale to fit to my body, really im not sure.
if anyone have an idea will be welcome and follo the project i dont like so much the cannon so i upgrade with this is much larger than the other.

i have a problem how i can erase that red lines i was reading and found i have to clean o erase some vertices how can i do that?

I reckon foam building would be the way to combat this. I had a mate come to a dress up party as megaman. one of the generic foam/spandex ones. you need big boots to look the character though.
