Sometimes, a 3d file wont load on the pepakura designer. when it gets to 100% it just crashes and closes. Is there a way to fix this? It's not the file either.

(And is there a way to convert a 3d file?)

if you exported the file yourself from a 3d program (sketchup, blender etc)if the 3d object wasn't highlighted when you clicked export it just exports a blank file and pepakura 3 can't handle this and just crashs.

Usually when that happens, there's something wrong with the model in the 3D file. If you're using Blender I would suggest:

1. Combine all the meshes into a single mesh

2. Remove all the double verticies, and

3. Recalculate the surface normals.
