3d Or Pd Files

I have a cool desighn drawn out for a helmet & suit but I wanted to know how to make it a 3D model, then a PDO file so I can make a suit out of it.

3ds max, blender, sketchup, Maya, all 3d editing programs you can use.


Maya and 3ds Max cost in the thousands, blender is free, and sketchup is a cheap google product (but free)

you can find plenty of tuts on the internet, blender can be complicated. especially when transferring it to .pdo.

Blender's more of an animation program. I would recommend Rhino v4.0 or Solidworks. Rhino'll run you about $150.00 with a student discount and Solidworks will run you about $89 with a student discount.
