Custom Cyborg

So a customer is having me make them a custom Cyborg costume for Halloween. It is a combination of Robocop, Mass Effect, Halo Reach (Jorge), Iron Man (Heartbreaker), Winter Soldier and Dr. Who Cybermen.

So, while working on this I have a lot of free time. Lots of researching too. Does anyone know how to make or get a HUD for the inside of our helmets? Even better if it works.

back many years ago I did a real backpack PC . It used a xybernaut HMD. they are a VGA input device.

Xybwernaut was a tech firm that make wearable PCs wayyyyyyyy before google had the idea of the glass .
The are cheap When you find them
that was 1999 tech

Now these days you can tweak some other stuff.
I just need to know what your trying to display. if its just icons you can get some sick little color displays that IF you pump up the backlight you can use with some imaging optics to make a HMD ( or bounce off the visor . )

some other musings . they make Heads up scuba masks . ( I used to dive ) . they are not cheap but might give you some optics ideas.


I am building a HMD for my marine bike helm. just started it this week .
