I have applied bondo finally as of today on this sucker and its currently setting and curing atm. Pics have been taken and Willlll be posted either tonight afterwork or tomorrow XD lol. But the colour scheme im going for is still currently in the not sure yet phase. I love the whole steel colours. But i was also thinking some added customs like jun and the spartans from reach have added onto their limbs. like blue or red lines etc lol So steel, silver, greys. and maybe red Damn man! Big men for big builds. Spartans tru and through. And hells yea DC rocks! I love to skate and long board aaand snow board lol. mountain life! Ive been debating once this helmet is done to take it up the mountain this year and see what people think when im riding haha XD

NICE! I love board sports, they make me happy lol a lil front side air off the backside on mount washington here in bc omg loved that place, i worked as a lifty few years ago. best job ever if u love to board! haha and party hard XD. But this year for sure im gonna rock the cqb helm with a gopro mounted helmet cam
also a small update!! Sadly the weather has been absolute balls here on vancouver island and muggy and rainy so no bondo yet. since i dont have a garage to work in

bondo is on hold still....damn it! But also i need my visor now so i can properly set my helmet for bondo'ing!

Oh man every bit from everyone helps
and definitely going in the right direction now with this helmet build for sure ^__^. I think im gonna be on hiadus for a smidge bit due to my baby boy on the way and birthday and work n such, but Ill definitely keep posting updates with my armour if not the helmet in place. I have ordered two visors. both irridecent metallic finish gold, which in my opinion look ballin haha! But thank you again MSTRUVMGC! 26 ON THE 25TH lol and baby boy literally due two days after my bday. was that planned? mmmmm not really haha just worked out that way XD but for now axious! Spartan Dragunity~153 over and out for the night!So today got a little nice out and I decided something was wrong with the helmet...the visor brim top side. It was misshapen and the resin warped it oddly so I made a decision. CUT IT OFF! So I did just that. here are some photos. the first two will compare what I mean by the brim looked off.
and some side views it looks nicer and cleaner and ill add that detail back once my visor is installed and assembled.
I knicked the edge on the left when cutting but its repairable. Just gotta wait on my visors to show up and installation will commence and bondo! hoorah!

Thanks so much leonidas1! Ill be doing a bit more work on the helmet tomorrow morning when i get up. Some major sanding to be done, than more bondo and sanding and bondo and sanding lol woot!
Well, progress is progress and tonight i decided it was time to begin sanding the bondo. well an hours worth of it anyways.
alot more to go and more bondo to go on after i finish sanding this beast of a helm lol. here are some update pics of what lil progress ive gotten done so far in about an hours worth of effort but as i said, progress is progess.
ive noticed a bit of those porus pocket marks, and i oopsed a bit when using the last bit of the bondo when applying hence the over zealous bumpy excess, but alas nothing a lil utility knife and sand paper wont cure ;D

Another day and more sanding has taken place before work. There is a helmet under all that bondo! lol Shes starting to take shape nicely. Slowly but surely, and with every bit of sanding and careful attention to this helme, its gonna be amazing once shes finished

Agreed 10000% after the detail for a rogue helmet I don't want to sand that much ever again XD, the helmet looks amazing man keep up the great work
OOOh man does the sanding take forever, but I look at the greater end result of this build for the helmet and think, omg omg omg this is gonna look absolutely sick once its done! Ill have more work done on it tomorrow hopefully
sanding to finish then more bondo to add, and then reference pics to gander at to place details on the helmet and build them up or down either way lolI happen to have a headlamp i picked up ages ago for camping that happens to have red light on it! Ill definitely take that tip to heart and try it out when i go to sand and check over the helmet more closely once i finish sanding round one lol and thank you guys so much for the love! lol It makes me want to work harder on this helmet and make it absolute best CQB build from reach to date
