The cardstock i got was 120lb XD haha but its possible i may have over saturated the cardstock upon initial resin application and when the resin cured the helmet i believe even with supports in it may still have leaned, thus leaving me with the stupid warp T__T sad face! lol but i managed to conqur the warping with applying heat to the helmet all over and managed to get it to a more correct un-warped state . But thankyou so much Chainsaw ninja! Im workin slowly but surely at this helmet to commence further with my armor once this is finished XD haha! I shall keep these updates as regular as possible .

WElll my hiatus is over finally with new boy being born and work taking main priority. Ive gone a slight off path direction and im starting from the ground up..literally with foam boots for my reach spartan build. im a rookie at this so ive been toying with templates and decided to just free style it completely. heres what ive got thus far for the right boot. ive made my own patterns aswell to replicate it for the left. with my natural height im 6'5'', my combat boots add another 1.25'' in height making me 6'6'' and a smidge. Theeennnn with the foam lift added another 2'' lift. making my overall height before helmet 6'8''...sooo wow O_O not bad for a start to get the height wanted to be spartan 3 worthy!!











oooh also, had a helping hand for some reference from noble 6. haha! more to come as i slowly worth this out. also anyone have an idea what a foam cutter is like? im about to purchase a hot foam knife to see about how much cleaner my cuts can get. Reason im throwing this out there is i dont know if im just heavy handed when cutting with xacto blades or not, but egads i burn through alot of blades and then it affects my cuts sad day! help a fellow spartan out pretty please! lol

More work on the boots. got one done and the other almost finished as of tonight. heres some progress of what the boots before painting etc look like more so ^_^








mooorre to slowly come as christmas passes itll be awesome to get more of this done. ^_^

Hey thanks man, slow but true I will have more done soon. Being a dad of two means time is limited haha! But the boots are pretty much fully done new pics to come soon and IM back on the helmet band wagon once again!
