Helghast project

Hi everyone, I was curious what advice you may have for me in regards to a project my friend and I have this year for Comicon and PAX east(next year). We are going to attempt to make 2 Helghast uniforms from the Killzone series, either Urban Combat Units or Capture troopers, we are both completely new to this and don't even know where to start, what to use, how to do it, ect... Any help and advice given will be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone.

If you decide to go with peprekura,hughs has some helgahst files here:

If not you can maybe scartch build it with foam,or cardbourd.
