Hello! I’m Luke. I’m 20 and I’m currently working full time at a carwash while studying 3D modeling for my “career job”.
My favorite hobby would probably be gaming. But I also really enjoy making stuff in general. From building with LEGO, to 3D printing!
Favorite part of Halo: I love the setting, theme, and art direction, so general aesthetic?
Favorite Halo: Campain- really tough call, I’ll say Halo 2 or Reach. Multiplayer- (2024) Infinite.
Favorite video game: Portal 2.
Other interests: Tech, PC building, LEGO, Action figures.
Favorite food: Pizza.
Favorite band: Twenty One Pilots.
Favorite Movie(s): not much of a TV/movie person but I like Star Wars. Less so the Disney trilogy more the originals.
What do you hope to learn here?: How to continually improve my skills in cosplay making.
Have you built/made a costume before?: Yes! I actually was stalking this forum last year without an account and have a mostly completed MKVII suit. It was made under a ton of crunch so it’s a little rough around the edges but I learned so much and hope to make something even better with more time.
I do not belong to any other costume communities but I have looked into the 501st as a possibility later down the line.

LAN multiplayer is just a different vibe from playing with friends online isn't it? I personally enjoy it more at least.

A Fotus helmet and armour to match your car sounds awesome, we should have the files that you need for the build in the Armoury. We've got plenty of other tutorials and guides in the new recruits section that you can make use of as well!

Modifying Nerf guns? Legend. I was actually doing that before I started Airsoft lol.
So you've made a Mandalorian? Then you shouldn't have much trouble learning how to make Spartan armour luckily. There's plenty of mediums to choose from, you can find more info on them in the new recruits section and the costume tutorials section.

Favorite Halo: Ive honestly not played them all yet. I have barely scratched the surface. But I have honestly fallen in love with the universe. But I would say ODST is an awesome game so far.
Favorite Video Game: This one is quite difficult for me because I love so many games. But at the moment ive been play a ton of Warhammer Darktide.

So I am mostly here for the social aspect. Im hoping I can get a commision for a Halo cosplay eventually.
