masterbuilder - the plan was to scratch the green paint off with a knife and a sanding block...but I couldn't bring me self to do it, lol so I painted the scratches on instead, which makes all the work I did painting the helmet silver underneath a bit pointless but never mind.

iv been ill the past week so almost no progress :-( all iv done is make a start on the inside.

When you say polyester resin, do you mean like the Bondo fiberglass resin?
