I have been watching his movement and hope to get it right!
May make the jet pack one day but I must say the only real Robocop film was the 1st.... the others just did not hit the mark!

Totally agree, the first was the best. Although i am looking forward to seeing the remake coming out.

Iam Also excited about the new film, it just a shame he looks like batman lol. In the 1st film he was violently killed, cold blooded. He is dead and dragged back to life to be trapped with no real memory of his humanity.... The new film looks as if he's hurt really bad. He is woken from a coma with memories and some prosthetic limbs.

I hope they put a really good spin on the film, and don't get me started with the new ED209!

It does have some decent actors (Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman); I'm looking forward to it. I just wish they'd put at least a black glove on his right hand. Seeing RC in all that armor/machinery, then that one fleshy hand sticking out is distracting.

Lets get a move on.

So I have been unable to get foam and I have been sanding the chest and helmet for hours. But Things are getting back on track! I have found some foam so I know what I'm doing next week.

Now... I have used a bathroom silicone paste to fill in the gaps. I have not sanded the rubber paste smooth yet but will do next week. Also start coating the foam in PVA next week.

I will Start on my arms this week and hope to get a move on!!! Anyway here are some pics!!!! Hope you like!

Now that 'Pyramid Head' is in storage, my mannequin has a new job! Mr John the Mannequin has no fear of my heat gun!!!!

Also I HAVE MORE FOAM AT LAST!!!!!!!!

Bicep Time!

I have had a dry spot during my foam search, but thanks to a great Christmas present of building materials I'm back!
So I have sorted my templates out and I hope to have got my sizing right (not like my 1st helmet!)

Will I get it done for The movie premiere? I'm not too sure at the moment! so everyone cross their fingers for me and watch this space!

keep at it... looking great so far.

btw one post around here (I forgot who it was, will need to search up) said you can use enviortex pour-on to paint it over your foam then use bondo ontop of that.... the pour on keeps it flexible too... wonderful stuff I totally filed that in my faulty memory banks for when I do more foam .. and now.. I shall file how to sand foam...

THANKS!!! I did not konw about enviortex pour-on! I just googled it and it looks great stuff! I was going to head down the PVA glue route but that stuff looks much better. It will all come down to if I can get it sent to my small island.

awsome post one of the best foam builds ive seen so far i have been looking at makeing a robocop suit for some time just as it my first build i think it may be too hard have you made it all yourself or are you useing a pepakura or similer programe thanks ant

Hi, I'm using a template I found on-line to get the shape right. Then to get detail's I'm using a load of Google images!!!
Its the 1st time I have used foam to this extent and I'm happy with the outcome so far. I hit an issue with getting materials and also hit a computer file issue so I'm running behind on the build.

I WILL BE WEARING THIS AT COMIC-CON LONDON 2014! I will not give up! watch this space as my arms are almost built!
