Halo Reach Commando Helmet Build (Picture Heavy)

      *Update page 17*

      Link to Visor tutorial*http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/...etail-Tutorial*

Hello 405th! Well, I decided to start this project when it was too cold to work on the Recon helmet that I’m still building (I promise I will finish it). However, I’m really excited about this build. It’s definitely the hardest helmet I’ve ever pepped. With that said it was the most satisfying. I did all the following to the pep last week. Enjoy. And as always, I welcome any and all constructive criticism.

      Addtl Info:

Model By Ruze; unfold by Ruze (Thanks for this amazing model! Its da bomb yo!)

Heres a link to the file:

      Update (Final):

This is how it looked on the 17th two Thursdays ago:

Borrowed this chopstick Idea from surfahbum808. Thanks surfahbum808!

Split the back so my large melon could fit.

      Resined

Visor cut out after I glassed it (Yes I glassed & rondoed, I also rondoed 1 more time too)

      Start of Bondo

      Current State

Fantastic Deal I got on a gallon of Resin. Thanks DiaryBoy for finding this. 17.99 a gallon

I know it still has alot of Bondo work left. Im going to try and finish this tomorrow. Thanks for viewing my build.

Also, I was thinking about doing a tutorial on the visor install. My visors are removable & I carve the detail into them. Let me know if you guys would even like something like that. If so, would you prefer a separate thread or Include in this one?

      Happy building 405th!

I think a seperate one would be a good idea because then it would be featuring the visor more and people viewing it who are looking for a way to their visors. Maybe put some of your visors you already have done in it too.

Have you ever tried this method with ODST? Not sure if it would work but I have been looking for more ways to do them.

By the way the helmet is looking great. Keep the good work.
