I want to start off by saying thanks to Juliet76 for the blueprints for this gun. I started working on this about 3 weeks ago, and am almost to the point where I'll call it complete. All that's really left is to make and attach the flashlight and holder. It is made of multiple layers of foam with small pieces of metal and pvc pipe for added rigidity throughout the prop itself. The edges were rounded and shaped using my rotary tool with a medium to fine grit sanding drum bit. For the different details thin craft foam and mat board were used and layered to get that look, and binding posts and screws for any of the rivets and screws. It was then sealed using Plasti dip, then painted and weathered. I also put a rail and clip system on the gun and my armor to allow me to carry it around on my back, although I will not be able to put it there on my own due to the restrictions on my movement from my armor. I might go back over it with some brown paints to add some dirt/mud to it, but that will be more of a last minute thing.
