Well after a year of full time work ive hit a armor builders jackpot. surgery with 4 months off work on disabillity!!! My first 2 helmets have been stairing at me for a good year now so i figure now is better a time than ever to get going again. cant wait to be involved in the community again...

my armor is fully pepped and im getting ready to resin it....but i am drawing up major blanks for what to use as a stand. anyone got any suggestions on maybe a cheap purchase or maybe a design they made from scrap wood?(seeing as how i have about 50 pounds of scrap wood in my back yard :p)

use the bondo after you have used resin to add detail or correct and screw ups with the resin and fiberglass. there are tutorials in the armor section threads

go to the pepakura and cardboard armor section and find a resin and FG tut. and for the melting thru the plastic line it with tinfoil. then you can throw out the tin foil and put new piece in the cup and reuse it

i tried the peice by peice but i always just...i dunno....lol i just like doing it step by step, cut it all, score it all, and glue it all. yeh, some of these pieces on the M6D are smaller than the nail on my pinky finger tho...not alot of writing room and lots of room to lose them
