I've already been debating whether I would want to or not. I'm currently working on my own custom armor that I can make mold copies of and sell. But I've kept it in thought so maybe someday you'll see that file floating around.

The Fiberglass Resin should definitely be at Home Depot. Lowes is where I get mine though just in case. The combat vest.. Sporting goods stores or possibly a Army store near by that sells fatigues and camping gear and such.

I will just simply send it to people who want it cause idk where to upload it so it really can be mass downloaded. I have a free version of the pepakura designer so the unfolding and such also with scaling it wont be done. You would have to do those yourself but yes I will be handing it out...

I think I'm going to use plexiglass and put LED lights down in the handle so it can shine the blue light throughout the blade. You think that would be a good way to show it off? Sort of the same method I picked up from pictures I saw of people making the Halo Sword.

Right with you man I'm a perfectionist too when it comes to my work as well! I have never been to worried about the sketches because I worry more if the 3d dimensions are correct in the 3d modeling program than when I draw. So when ever I'm drawing I keep it dull and with the base proportions...

I'm hoping sometime around January this armor will be complete. It's not a full fitting suit such as the Mk5 or Mk6 from halo but more like an advanced armor from the marines in Halo 1

I have the whole suit designed. But it's early concept designs I had sketched out for each piece. I'm upgrading them and customizing them a bit more to make it mroe original and also because I'm finding flaws in the designs. So I'm sort of renewing every piece as I go further on.

The reason to why the two parts are seperate for the shoulder is because the top part is a cup for the shoulder but the long flat piece is to cover more or less the bicep/tricep part of your arm. Two straps will be connecting the pieces but they're seperated just so it doesn't reduce comfort...
