Hey! I have 2 shins pep'd and the 2 gauntlet plates pep'd, I bondo'd and primed my helmet, but it still needs a lot of work. I'm moving much slower because I got a new job and my funding is really low. I'll post an update soon. Thanks for asking in :p

Cardboard or cardstock is a cheap alternative. Ive seen plenty of people making theirs out of wood. Clay is a good option. Or you can use a resin and a mold and cast them. Probably your best bet is to use a combination that you're comfortable with. Head over to the forum and read up some of the...

After doing an internal coat with the FG resin i decided that I probably shouldn't put off glassing it just because im afraid to screw up. Things have slowed down a bit due to high humidity. My pieces are taking much longer to dry. I've got the inside of the helmet resin'd and one gauntlet piece. I'm cutting the second gauntlet piece now and it should be done by saturday 8-6-11.

Well you resin the outside and inside, then you add pre cut pieces of fiberglass mat or cloth. I'm gonna use the cloth because its neater. Then you resin overtop the fiberglass. There's some good faqs on it in the forums, or youtube videos.

Hail friends! My cutting and pasting on the Mk VI is done. It looked sweet even without resin or paint, So kudos to DF4L on unfolding an awesome design. Ive also decided to start an assault rifle too. I'm going to pop up some pics of the Mk VI now. Gimme some feedback folks! P.S. Noob...
